Candy + Mike
When I met up with Candy and Mike prior to their D-day, they were like two teenagers who simply could not stop looking at each other. They were not at all bothered with details or fussy about how things were going to run on the day. All they were interested in was marrying each other.
This relaxed attitude really helped when the day went from blistering hot to a crazy windy downpour, and the entire reception area had to be relocated. Friends and family adopted their no stress attitude and helped carry tables and chairs to the covers.
Lucky for us, the torrential downpour held out just long enough for us to have some veil in the wind fun. Although I’m sure that Candy now has a lot less hair on her head from the veil constantly being yanked by the wind.
The day turned out exceptionally special with Candy’s dad giving the sermon, the delicious vegan food at Leafy Green, and Mike bravely singing a song to his bride. Hearing all the obstacles these two had to face to get to this day, explained the overall atmosphere of sincere joy.
It was a blessed, stress-free day, simply celebrating love.
