The Branded Panda
You know sometimes in life, you meet someone who you just click with. So the story goes…
It was at my very first Future Females workshop (these are kickass by the way). I was afraid (because it’s scary putting yourself out there) and very unsure of myself. To ease my awkwardness, I practically ran to the coffee table and grabbed a cookie to shove into my mouth. (you know to avoid talking to anyone because it’s rude to talk with your mouth full)
The problem with my plan was that I couldn’t keep shoving cookies in my mouth to avoid having a conversation with someone. So my plan B was to take a coffee and another cookie and go and stand in the furthest corner until the event started. Foolproof right?
Enter Pam. So it turns out that Pam was doing the same thing, hence we ended up in the same corner, stuffing our mouths with cookies.
The irony is that when we actually started talking, (you know after that long intentional chewing had to end because the cookies were finished) we hit it off like an arsonist with matches.
Long story short, P trusted me enough by the end of the workshop to agree to do a brand shoot for her business baby, The Branded Panda.
So if you cannot figure out your ass from your elbow, when it comes to your business, get in touch with her. She is a really kickass chick!
Moral of the story, “Don’t be so flipping afraid of people, they usually only bite on Mondays.”
